Devonian Landscape (“Devonian”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is a landscaping supply yard and commercial property services provider based at 26302 Township Rd 511, Spruce Grove, Alberta, serving the greater Edmonton area. We operate the website at devonianlandscape.com, including its online store.

This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Alberta’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).

• Orders — billing and delivery address, delivery instructions, requested delivery date, and the products you order.
• Trade and contractor accounts — your name, business name, contact details and order history. Accounts on this site are created by us after you apply; there is no public self-registration.
• Commercial service enquiries — property addresses, site details and the scope of work you are asking us to quote.

Payment information

Card payments are processed by our payment provider, Square. Your full card number is entered directly with the payment provider and is not stored on our servers. We receive confirmation that a payment succeeded, along with limited details such as the card type and the last four digits.

Information collected automatically

• Technical data — IP address, browser and device type, operating system, the page that referred you, and the pages you view.
• Cookies and similar technologies — used to keep your shopping cart and session working, and to measure how the site is used.

3. How we use your information

• Answer enquiries, prepare quotes and calculate delivered pricing
• Process, fulfil and deliver orders, including scheduling delivery to your site
• Operate trade and contractor accounts, including account pricing and order history
• Quote, deliver and administer commercial services and seasonal contracts

4. Consent

In most cases we collect personal information directly from you, and your consent is implied by you sending us an enquiry, placing an order or asking us to quote. Where we need express consent — for example to send you marketing email — we will ask for it separately.

You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us. Withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer supply a product or service that depends on that information.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers who need it to run our business, and only to the extent they need it:

• Delivery and logistics — where a third-party carrier is used to complete a delivery

Some of our service providers operate outside Canada, including in the United States. Where personal information is stored or processed outside Canada, it may be accessible to the courts, law enforcement and national security authorities of that country under its laws.

Our website uses cookies for two purposes: to make the site work (keeping you signed in and keeping items in your cart), and to measure how the site is used so we can improve it.
